One of my favorite overlooks. Sometimes you are in the clouds. Amazing views with a good trial you can hike, and not far out of Maggie Valley.

Not the easiest, and we have not had the opportunity to head out to this one, but there is wreckage from a plane crash in from the 80's (i think).

This hike is about 1.7miles round trip with a fantastic view at the top, and even an amazing view from both directions in the parking lot as well. A giftshop is also located on the far side of the lot if you would like to get a Great Smokey Mountains souvenir. To the right of the giftshop you will find the base of the trailhead if you choose to hike. It also provides multiple picnic tables that are easy to access for all guest. The trail itself is uphill the whole way to the top, though it isnt difficult if you take your time on the way up. (This hike is rated as moderate)
