Sausalito is just beautiful Marco polo supposedly called it little Capri on one of his voyages. Enjoy beautiful shops and restaurants or walk along the water front and eat some of the best seafood and Italian restaurants with stunning views. You might also enjoy taking the ferry to Angel Island and have a picnic.

In Sausalito you will find a quintessential town, on the San Francisco Bay full of restaurants, shops and art galleries. It also has a ferry (20 min ride) that goes directly to the heart of San Francisco. Enjoy being on the open water as you pass by Alcatraz Island and see the Golden Gate Bridge.

Lovely and famous neighborhood across the Golden Gate Bridge, some parts attract lots of tourists, so check out the quieter streets away from the crowds especially the eateries on Caledonia Street.

If you've ever seen a car commercial featuring the Golden Gate Bridge, chances are good that part of it was shot on Conzelman Road leading up to Battery Spencer. At almost 500 feet above the bay, this high cliff-top vantage point makes for great views today. Come for the view, but be sure to walk around the remains of the battery, a vestige of a bygone era.
