Its huge, you need more than 1 day to see everything in this museum. Its amazing, breathtaking, full of surprises. Very economical, you can donate whatever you like for entrance. Must see!
Free entry with a suggested donation. Great place to explore--especially on a rainy day. Can get touristy. I recommend going early or late.
Basically a huge maze- so so many masterpieces, it's a great place to explore. It is impossible to see everything in one visit, so I suggest you grab a map and select a floor or two to wander around.
My absolute favorite museum in the city. A great way to learn more about different eras and different cultures around the world!
NYC Staple of a Museum. Beautiful walk through Central Park if you are in the mood. The roof top is also lovely at the Museum. You can enjoy a drink and view the outside installation if there is one at the time of your visit.

“The view from the Promenade is worth it, the Statue of Liberty is visible and the walk to it takes you through some of the most beautiful listed historic buildings of Brooklyn, like where Truman Capote lived, Henry Miller etc and the view from BK Bridge Pk from the deck at the water is stunning too.”
