Glasnevin is Ireland's largest cemetery where over one and a half million people are buried including icons such as Daniel O'Connell, Michael Collins, Charles Stewart Parnell, Maud Gonne, and Eamon DeValera.
One of the most historical places in Ireland... IF you like history and cemeteries! It would take about 30 minutes to walk there and 5 minutes to drive. Well worth the time to visit.
Glasnevin Cemetery Museum: A visit here will give you an insight from the ordinary to the truly extraordinary people who helped shape the Ireland of today. The museum also a genealogy department which allows you to search your family’s history. Cafe also on site.
