Best ice cream in San Diego, hands down. Known for wacky and bold flavors, if you can handle the hour wait, it's well worth your time.

There's a reason Salt & Straw's are popping up all along the west coast...it's because their ice cream is SO GOOD! Situated in Little Italy (very walkable and cute part of SD) Salt & Straw always has a line because it's worth it if you love ice cream! They will also let you try all the flavors before honing in on one so take advantage of that.

Try a sample or sample everything! Weird delicious seasonal flavors. Our first time there they gave us our scoops for free. Literally the sweetest people.

Always packed so try to go on off peak hours or skip the line & grab a pint from the freezer. The roasted strawberry white chocolate is our favorite. This ice cream is creative, Housemade, delicious!
