An iconic Auckland building and a great space filled with books. Mediation classes on Sundays upstairs, and an interesting history room downstairs showing local historic photographs. The notice board in the foyer shows what is happening in Auckland too.

The local library is just around the corner - makes a few hours pass by if you're entertaining children when it's not so great weather. There is a little park just opposite with swings and also Mary's cafe is opposite too ( great coffee/ food).
