Brandywine Park

Trails starting in Downtown Wilmington (Midtown Brandywine Neighborhood) along the Brandywine Creek stretching into the national park. Rock climb in the Park.

A beautiful park with a storied (DuPont) gunpowder-producing history.

A rather large park, with a number of spots to just melt and unwind. There is a small zoo. It is also in the center of the city, giving you access to all the different parts of the city.

Nice for exercise and a bit of nature

Walk through the free public mile-long park which runs along both sides of the river, offering 178 acres of walking paths, gardens & footbridges. Follow wooded trails to Trolley Square & Alapocas Park
