Good food, carefully prepared and great sauces. Book early, almost always full. 30 mins walk, easy parking nearby. There is something rather old fashioned about the decor and ambience but the food is good and this place is a favourite with locals.

At the end of the road in the Wellswood village The Waddling Duck Bistro offers both a good place for Sunday lunch as well as somewhere to enjoy a lovely evening meal.

The Waddling Duck is a friendly, independent bistro in the heart of Wellswood, Torquay. They pride themselves on creating great tasting food from quality ingredients and making the most of the wide range of local produce that the Devon countryside has to offer. The menu adapts with the seasons, keeping it fresh and exciting as new ingredients become available.
