The Ubud Palace is an old building complex in Bali with some fantastic carvings and courtyards. Also known as Puri Saren Agung, this is an important historical landmark for the Balinese and it’s also very accessible, with some great spots for taking ‘Bali-esque’ cultural photos.

45min drive from accommodation. You cannot come to Bali and not go to Ubud. The historic and cultural heart of Bali with many healers, yogis and hipsters. Many organic and vegan cafe's are located here as well as the world famous suckling pig - Warung Ibu Oka. Make sure you don't miss one of the cultural shows during your visit. A stay in jungle next to the river ravine , is very memorable and majestic.
