If you enjoy animals, and would like to get up close and personal with monkeys, macaws, pizotes, & more then check it out. Not a zoo trip. It is more about education mixed with experiencing a moment with the animals. Cool stuff.

The Nosara Refuge for Wildlife is a once in a lifetime experience for those interested to learn more about the beautiful animals that live in this part of Costa Rica. As a matter of fact, many of our guests say this was one of the most memorable parts of their trip! The refuge works as a Rescue Center for wild animals in need of care. The center is located off the beaten path and offers an educational visit in return of a small donation. We encourage everyone to visit these facilities and learn about the animals and the challenges they face today.
