Just a few miles north of Ridgway, accessible from town of Ridgway along the cement bike path and walkway, this State Park is centered around the Ridgway Reservoir, into which the Uncompahgre Rivers feeds. It is an outdoor haven, offering all kinds of water activities, including paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, water skiing, jet skiing, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, wildlife watching, and camping in 2 campgrounds of Dutch Charlie and Pa-Co-Chu-Puk, and the day use site of Dallas Creek.

Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy the many hiking and biking trails along with birding and wildlife viewing opportunities. The park is a favorite for fishing, boating, kayaking, windsurfing, standup paddle boarding, picnicking, and swimming.

This is a lovely day trip. Located just this side of Ouray. This state park is great for a day at the lake just relaxing.

Ridgway Park is among the most beautiful parks in the state. Ridgway Reservoir offers boating of all kinds, sailing, swimming and prime fishing.
