Medieval church on the cliff overlooking the castle - in fact it’s older than the castle! Limited free parking for walks on the Coast Path and the Glebe Cliff, with amazing views of the castle and from Hartland Point to Trevose Head.

A beautiful church set on the headland with great views of the sea and a dog-friendly footpath to walk along. There is plenty of car parking spaces as well so you can drive there. It is a steep hill to walk up if you decide to go by foot, but worth the effort.

This church is where we park to walk from Tintagel to Trebarwith along the coastal path. Tintagel to Trebarwith coastal path walk has breath taking views. The walk is around 3 miles, but it is tricky in a few parts and not suitable for young children, however we do take our dog on this walk, but there are areas she needs to stay on the lead. If you park at Tintagel church which has free parking, you will see the path that leads down to the main coastal path route to Trebarwith. There are some steep areas to navigate, but it is well worth it and a very invigorating walk. We pop into Tintagel first and get a pasty to take with us to eat on the beach at Trebarwith, lovely!

Beautiful church. Surrounding areas have stunning views and cliff walks. You can reach Tintagel castle from here also.
