Take a short boat trip from Bideford quay to this interesting little island. The entire island has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and it was England's first statutory Marine Nature reserve

If you have small children and want to visit the small shop on the island do it before its shuts, which isn't just before the return trip on the boat!

Lundy Island is a great day trip from Ilfracombe, check the weather as it can be a rough boat ride on certain days. During the summer you can also get a helicopter out to the island.
