Situated right next to the SDR station, ideal to combine with a trip on the South Devon Railway - joint tickets are available. Park for free at Buckfastleigh station. See the butterflies and feel the rainforest conditions that they enjoy. The Otter Sanctuary has species of otter from around the world.

Really well kept and thoughtfully managed. Heated Butterfly house lovely for a burst of tropical weather.

Get up close to free flying butterflies, watch the otters getting fed and have a snack lunch in the cake - the small shop sells lots of model railway bits and bobs - you can catch the steam train to Totnes.
