Another beautiful hike with a great view at the end, the hike is moderate, about 5 miles round trip, with a large rock ledge and gorgeous view of the Hudson Valley looking south at the end.

This is such a marvelous hike. The grade is mostly moderate and never terribly steep, making it a good hike for beginners. The views at the end are remarkable. When you are done, go for a bite in nearby Tannersville, or take a swim at Lake Colgate or North South Lake, both also close by!
