A short walk next to Currumbin Creek. Great for a short walk and to rock walk / jump and swim. There are different access points into the creek depending on your age and skill. There are plenty of fantastic swimming holes further up the cascades if you don't mind a walk upstream.

Easy drive & walk to these spectacular Waterfalls. Scenic drive. Paved footpath, accessible friendly for wheelchairs/walkers, etc. Off road options for those more inclined to chase the Waterfalls & swimming in the lagoons.

A gentle and beautiful bushwalk recommended for the whole family. Stop in at the Currumbin Rock Pools on your way home.

“Starting at the Gwongorella picnic area, this route is bursting with Springbrook’s heritage-listed rainforest flowers, shrubs and trees, all on display in an accessible four-kilometre circuit. This walk has a few (okay, a LOT of) steps down into the gorge, but it is totally worth it for the incredible view of Purling Brook Falls from the forest floor, and the lush tropical greenery fed by the waterfall. Just don’t forget you’ll be hiking back out!”

“Absolutely breath-taking. Definitely aim to go around sunset to see the glow worms in the cave. Definitely no flash allowed. Will need a border pass since in QLD.”

“Epic bushwalks in a stunning settting - usually involving some sort of waterfall. Our favourite walks are: Twin Falls, Purling Brook and Natural Bridge. All within 40-60 minutes drive from the studio and fairly easy walks. ”

“Situated in the Lamington National Park….take a day trip up here & enjoy bush walking, Chinese garden, tree top walk with look out, cafe & restaurant for food options or pack a picnic to bring. They also do bird feeding. Don’t forget a jacket as it can get cool.”
