A picturesque DOC reserve. A great walk (for dogs too) up to the summit, and to the surrounding beaches.
Get a brochure from the Information centre in Mangonui and walk around the streets of Mangonui. Reimagine the bustling whaling town that was the main town with a courthouse and hospital back in the day. Find the whalers burial site.
