Keystone Resort Ski Mountain. IF you want a local secret - you can take the Gondola at night and eat a wonderful Fondue meal at the Timber Ridge Lodge. An amazing experience.
A quick walk to the shuttle stop, and 30 minutes later you are at Keystone! The mountain is a local favorite, with plenty action and fast lifts that get you everywhere. There are three peaks, stacked one behind the other. The first one (Dercum) is mostly beginner/intermediate terrain; the second one (North, don't ask) is mostly advanced terrain with moguls and groomers (Spitfire is a favorite in the afternoon); the third one, the Outback, is legendary for its trees. If you are a powder hound, consider the cat tour to the outer bowls - they are hard to reach on foot and the fun is worth the money. The park, Area 51, is very well done and includes a dedicated park lift. From the Summit, you have gorgeous views of Arapahoe Basin and Breckenridge nearby. Food-wise, Summit House tends to get REALLY crowded (but has upstairs seating that seems to be a secret); if that's the case, try Mountain House at the base of Peru lift.

World class skiing and snowboarding, tubing, Saturday fireworks in winter, horseback riding in summer, great for kids!
Keystone is my favorite ski hill! Lots of slopes for all ability levels. There is also a nice resort village if you’d prefer to relax. Arapahoe Basin is just down the road. I recommend purchasing passes from Liftopia.com to save some money.
One of the largest ski-able terrains in the US. Something for everybody, green to double diamonds.
Beautiful drive up through Hwy 24 will avoid Denver I 70 traffic depending on time you travel but more scenic route-all wheel or 4 wheel in snow conditions recommended.
A beautiful ski resort that consists of three mountains located 1 hour and 30 mins from the dome!
On Epic Pass -- Very beginner friendly and has some big bowls. This has notoriously been known as a “snowboarders” mountain with a lot of parks and fun terrain. There is also a great gondola ride for people that do not want to ski at Keystone!
Short walk to River Run. Lots of activities; bars/dining/shopping/relaxation/skiing/tubing/etc.
