In summer familes in Livorno move to the bathhouses. They rent a cabin and a parasol and they stay all day near the sea. They go to work and have lunch under the parasol, go back to work and have a shower and dinner in the bath house. It's worth visiting for the huge swimming pool (you need a bath cap to get into the water) and to enjoy a typical Italian atmosphere. The only shortcoming is that the entrance fee is 6 euros and you have to pay for a parasol or a chair, but you can stay for free in the swimming pool until 6 pm.

Sempre a due passi da Casa Dimitri, lo storico stabilimento balneare Bagni Pancaldi. Il più antico e affascinante della città, offre uno spaccato singolare del modo tutto labronico di vivere il mare. Basta uscire da casa con asciugamano e infradito, pagare il biglietto d'ingresso e tuffarsi!
