This is not the typical mega-distillery. David Meier purchased the former Old Crow Distillery and has created a micro-distillery. The tastings occur within sight of their pot still. The former distillery is still standing and provides a historic vibe.

The historic Old Crow Distillery sat abandoned for more than 30 years before being reopened as Glenns Creek. This bourbon landmark originally produced whiskeys made by Dr. James Crow, who is known for perfecting the sour mash technique. Crow’s style is the foundation of whiskeys made today at the repurposed and salvaged facility. This even includes wild yeast collected from one of the old fermentation tanks.

This "boutique" distillery is a small operation, producing new and alternative recipes. They are located on the grounds of some of the oldest distilling operations in the state.
