Beautiful 20 minute bike ride to this lovely lake. Beach, snack bar. Wonderful place to go on a warm day for a swim.

Not a lot of people know about it, but at Nieuwe Meer you can find almost everything. And it's not far from the VondelPark. You can chill next to the water, swim in the water hike, watch wildlife (yes in Amsterdam) and Hairy Cos (Schottische Highlanders). On great days you even have a beach with a nice restaurant, or you can do all kinds of water sports (wind surfing, sailing, jet-ski, Stand Up Paddling and more). Great place to see a different Amsterdam!

Beach at the beautiful Nieuwe Meer park and lake side, where during warm summer days you can take a nice cold dip, have a pick nick or rent a boat and explore the lake.
