The destination is the lake but it's the getting there that has the most amazing views. Follow the Rim trail for a walking path that meanders the edge of the Mogollon Rim. it's a great photo backdrop and provides plenty of picnic spots.

this lake is awesome with eagles dive bombing trout, cooleer weather, beautiful water, good fishing and close to Mongollon rim , can rent small boats....off 260 east towards sho low or pine top

Fishing licenses available. Great views. Wonderful place to take the family for easy hikes.
