This is a great local treasure. This beautiful lake is surrounded by miles of nature trails and has a both a swimming beach and a fishing boat launch. You are welcome to bring my kayak and/or my paddle board up here for the day. It also has a playground and covered picnic shelter with restrooms adjacent.

(5-minute drive): small playground, hiking/running trails, lake that’s warm enough for swimming in the summer (but only a small beach area). Good for paddleboarding.
