Great for dog-walking, child-walking, jogging, cycling. There is one main circular route but it joins to lots of other routes. Saltram also has a play area, great cafe and a house. Parking costs £3 unless you are a national Trust member. Its great in all weather.

National Trust Property, with a stunning country house you can pay to tour round. Alternatively you can explore a lot of the grounds for free which makes a nice little walk if you want to get out of the city. Good for dogs and children and buggies too.

Great picnic lawns and safe for children. This National Trust property near Plymouth overlooks the River Plym and is set in a rolling landscape park with beautiful gardens. Saltram was home to the Parker family from 1743 and is magnificently decorated, with original contents including Chinese wallpapers and paintings (several by Sir Joshua Reynolds).
