An excellent friendly bistro situated in the heart of Stoke Fleming and just a few minutes walk from the cottage. They use suppliers and producers in locally caught fish, seafood, meats & vegetables from within a 7 mile radius of the restaurant and have a lunch or evening menu with a specials board. A beautiful light interior with sea views, If you fancy an apperitif or just a drink, a Cocktail bar is available and on some nights live acoustic music.

This place is great for food AND cocktails. Big portions, so skip lunch and bring your appetite. Wonderful gin selection, and stays open quite late. Get yourself a table with a sea-view.

Radius 7 is opposite The Thatched House. I’d recommend booking this well in advance. It’s a small restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. It’s perfect for families or couples. The food is seasonal and beautifully presented, it’s a really special restaurant. The bar area is lovely too for a relaxed gin. The views of the sea are fantastic, definitely a must when staying at The Thatched House!

Bar and restaurant by the side of the road, with views to the sea. Delightful mix of lovely flavours, presentation and hospitality. Dinner was so yum we returned to enjoyed a lovely Sunday Lunch menu here. The chef must have worked somewhere rather special before ...hope he's still there! Booking advisable.
