The Canteen - One of our favourite watering holes for lunch or just a coffee and cake - situated by the Hot Walls in Old Portsmouth – it’s a great walk from the studio too! A waterfront cafe, with a passion for local, seasonal produce. They serve fresh, wholesome, great quality food. Open seven days a week from 8am to 4pm.

It's a really lovely location. The cafe is built into one of the towers that form part of Henry VIII's fortifications of the town. It has a few outside seats which provide a lovely view of the harbour entrance. They also provide blankets if it's a bit chilly.

The breakfast menu includes Eggs Royale, Eggs Benedict, Breakfast Stacks, Waffles and Sandwiches. There is seating inside with the impressive exposed brick arched ceilings, outside on the waterfront deck, with more seating outside in front of the Hotwalls Studios. We are a family run waterfront eatery located in the historic barracks in the Hotwalls. Run by a fantastic team of staff, we have been lucky enough to be serving the people of Old Portsmouth and beyond since July 2016. With our enthusiastic team of chefs led by Head Chef Matt Barnes, busy in the kitchen, we offer a delicious breakfast and lunch menu. We are continually adapting our food offering with the changing seasons and wherever possible our food is sourced locally, from independent suppliers. We enjoy building solid, long lasting relationships with local people who help us to put excellent food on your plate! Our Deck Our Deck is a must-see in all weathers. Located at the mouth of the harbour, we have the best spot to watch all the goings on in the Solent. Come and visit to get a front row seat of Ben Ainslie’s state of the art catamarans, or the magnificent Queen Elizabeth Aircraft Carrier. They all pass by within inches of our deck, enjoyed by our customers in the comfort of our cosy blankets, or whilst enjoying a chilled Sauvignon on a hot day! The Hut On sunny days throughout the summer months, be sure to come down and sample our selection of Judes Ice Creams from our Ice Cream Hut located next to Studio No 1 in the Hotwalls Studios. Great food, great coffee and a truly unique location combine to make an offering which we are very proud of and invite you to come and try for yourself.
