Nice Lobby to hang out in. Excellent Brussel Sprouts. Used to be a Great Happy Hour. Sadly, prices are high now.

1833, the restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel at Oberlin, is a complete delight. It was the first place we tried out when we were looking at moving an event we run over to Oberlin -- and it was a hit! Their food is delicious (make sure you save room for dessert!), served with a quirky sustainable flair that suits Oberlin to the buttons. I have never eaten a more delicious black bean burger in my life than the one they serve - it's so good it makes it hard to try other dishes! Plus, the restaurant looks out over Tappan Square, the park where town & college meet.

Oberlin's newest fancy place. A bit pricier for meals and drinks, but still reasonable.
