The Coastal Bend's most popular visitor attraction invites you to travel an aquatic journey from the shore to the depths of the Gulf of Mexico. More than 3,000 animals representing more than 320 species are displayed in entertaining and educational exhibits. The mission of the Texas State Aquarium is to engage people with animals, inspire appreciation for our seas, and support wildlife conservation. Get up close and personal to Atlantic bottlenose dolphins in Dolphin Bay. Watch hawks, owls and falcons soar throughout the Hawn Wild Flight Theater. Visit the Island of Steel exhibit, where sharks and sea turtles live among schools of fish. Spend time in the Living Shores, where you can really get your hands wet! Watch as sea turtles gracefully glide through Tortuga Cay, while North American river otters play the day away in Otter Creek. Touch and feed stingrays in Stingray Lagoon, then cool off in the H-E-B Splash Park. Explore the intersection of science and technology in our Saving Sharks exhibit, a hands-on conservation focused experience focusing on research being done to help understand and conserve these apex predators, where you can even touch sharks. And enjoy our newest exhibit, Tentacles, full of fascinating jellies, cuttlefish, and octopus, where you can even safely touch moon jellies.

Watch the Dolphin Show and the Bird Show outside. Let the children bring their swim suits and play in the water park. You can touch sharks and stingrays and watch the fish feeding in the beautiful Aquarium. You can spend the day there since they serve food.
