Sant'Ambroeus -Corso Matteotti 7 The perfect spot to have a breakfast right in the middle of the “fashion jungle”. Sant’Ambroeus takes its name from the patron of the city and it is one of the most traditional coffee places in Milan. It is excellent for breakfast, lunch and aperitivo prior to dinner. Croissants, chocolates, cakes are wonderful. If you go there for lunch, try the risotto or the “Cotoletta alla Milanese” which are always more than delicious. Closed on Monday.

Slightly more famous pizzeria, but also more expensive than Piz. The quality is comparable: here the pizza, cooked by thoroughbred Neapolitan chefs, is certainly above the average of Milanese pizzerias, even if it can often be very crowded.
