Housing the largest collections of American made history. This place is incredible. Bicycles, antique mouse traps, motorcycles, antique guns, native artifacts, antique (functioning) music players, helicopters. As well as several specialty outbuildings set up like an old Pioneer Village; the old time saddle shop, dentist, blacksmithing, saw-mill, tailor shop, you name it! If you are lucky enough to be around during the "heritage days" (typically the end of July) you can have a chance to watch the village in action! A miniature train set for kids to ride, a functioning blacksmith forge, hitch a ride on the tank, watch the helicopter start up. Fun for all!

This museum is right here in polson. It’s bigger than you might think so get Yur walk-in shoes on. Lots of incredible history to see.

I'm embarrassed to say I've never been to this museum, but I hear it's fantastic! A Polson landmark, the museum is easy to access and for all walks of life.

My dad was visiting Mount Forge and he wanted to see a museum, so we headed into town to check out the Miracle of America Museum. We weren't exactly sure what we were getting into, but we ended up being completely blown away. The owner started off as a collector of Americana and eventually built such a large collection that in 1981 Gil & Joanne Mangels just had to begin showcasing it for the public to see. From artifacts of every American war to dentistry from the 1930s, tanks and helicopters, this museum has it all. The collection is unbelievable, it is one of the largest single collections of American history in existence. It's so massive that it took us over 3 hours to even see it all. A truly remarkable sight to see right here in Polson. --- full guidebook at mountforgemontana.com ---
