Coogan Farm is a plot of land tucked between route 27 to the west, McQuade’s to the north, and the Denison properties to the east. It was saved by DPNC and the Trust for Public Land in 2013 in an effort to protect natural and historical resources with the goals of conserving, education, sustainable tourism, public health, and community spirit. Coogan Farm has a welcome center, a nature and arts barn, a giving garden, a red cedar forest & quarry, gallup orchard and much more.

Wonderful nature programs for families. Lots of good hiking trails and X-country skiing in the winter. Also, owls!
