The closest 14er to the ranch is Grays Peak, which sits next to Torreys Peak. The ranch is named after this mountain as it is the tallest mountain in Colorado's front range and is also easily visible from the sunroom. These are some of the most accessible of all of Colorado's mountains higher than 14,000 feet. For this reason, these two peaks can be more crowded but the views are amazing and the climb is not too difficult.
