Tough to describe the magical wonderland that is the Bywater. Situated right on the French Broad river, this hidden gem has everything for everybody. There is the river to sit at and watch the tubers getting out of the river. There is a covered stage and dance floor with a good mix of live music. Big bonfire pit. Park Style charcoal grills for you and your friends to grill up any food you bring with you (can't bring drinks), get there early and claim a grill and some picnic tables for your friends to celebrate another Saturday afternoon in WNC!

This is by far one of my favorite places to have a beer. The atmosphere is quintessential Asheville. It's right on the river and features a great outdoor area for games, etc.
