Lovely beach, similar to Woolacombe - good surf etc. Nice village with good pubs, Stoned Pizza pop up in the summer & the brilliant Sri Lankan take away in holiday season.

“The beach at Saunton Sands is big – very big – and popular with surfers and longboarders alike, as well as the occasional film crew! Parts of the 2014 box office smash ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt were shot here.”

Seafood Restaurant
“Rated as one of the best fish and chip shops in North Devon and extremely popular with locals and visitors. During the summer months this place is rammed. You can't pre book a table in the restaurant so don't be surprised if you have to queue but its well worth the wait. The place is run by a local family (The Squires) and they are very professional. If you don't fancy a sit down meal, the takeaway next door is just as fabulous. You can use their click and collect service to save queuing. You cannot beat eating fish & chips on the beach watching the sunset”
