Easy to get to from the city, this trail has it all. Great views, challenging rock scrambling, rock climbing, paths near water, and dog friendly. If you have the time and enjoy hiking, this one is something that you can't miss during your stay in DC.

One of the most popular hiking trails in the area, the Billy Goat trail is a great option for beginning as well as advanced hikers. There are multiple trail segments, so you can shorten or lengthen the hike according to your ability, interest, and available time.
