This is a hidden gem for hikers, a 40-acre community park. The view of Pillar Point Harbor from Quarry Park's Vista Point is amazing. The 2 mile round trip hike to Vista Point is particularly recommended for its spectacular view on sunny days of Pillar Point Harbor.

The trails start at the end of our street! You can hike just a 1/2 mile loop that starts at one end of the street and ends up at the park just a block away, or go all the way to Montara Mountain several miles away. See the ocean & harbor views from lookout point up in the hills.

Play structures available as well as hiking trails that lead up into the hills for stunning views of the harbor and Pacific Ocean.

Fun spot close by for the kiddos- ours always ignore the play structure and head into the hill for more natural play. There is also a trail that goes up to a beautiful vista point

“Since the shifting of sand last year, this beach is no longer easy to get onto. There are a couple of other Miramar beaches which are easier to walk onto located just south of the bridge and South of Miramar restaurant. You can park in the neighborhood during the day and walk down the coastal trail to the beach trail. Santa Rosa is a good street to park on.”

“Technically no food here, but great, locally brewed beer and order pizza from Llama's to hang out a while. ”

“You can ride your bike right along the beach & ocean cliffs. In the morning there is fog lifting from the ground. See beautiful wild flowers & smell the ocean! Bikes are for rent in Half Moon Bay. The trail starts just 2 blocks from the cottage. ”
