The Wainui Reserve Bush Park is located near Raglan. It's a beautiful bush walk with a detour to the beach. Beautiful place to stop for a picnic. Access from Wainui Road. A carpark is located at the trailhead.

Nice little bush walk alongside a stream. You can take the ridge walk which will give you access to the beach too, but keep in mind the hike back after long day in the sun, might be better to park closer. Moderate incline. Some great picnic areas close to the stream. No wheels/bikes or horses are permitted on the track. It’s quite popular, but be sure not to leave valuables in your vehicle.

A beautiful walking track that you can take, which brings you out at the Wainui Reserve car park, leading down to the main beach. One of the entrances is off Wainui Road, 2 minutes drive from Whare Tatū, heading towards the main beach, you will go over a small white bridge called Dando’s Bridge, then it’s hard right, you will see a small car park. Once you find the main entrance there’s signs to show you which tracks to take and the skill level needed :)
