A neighbouring estate that is now dual owned by Cornwall and Plymouth councils. Incredible views over the Plymouth Sound and Drakes Island. Full of great family and children’s activities. Very good food in The Orangery

Take the Cremyll ferry from Admirals Hard to Mount Edgecumbe. Beautiful sights and nature. Lovely places to eat. A good walk away from the small fishing villages of Kingsand and Cawsand.

Golf Course
“The beach's of Whitsand Bay offer over three miles of stunning sand from Rame Head to Portwrinkle and are considered one of Cornwall’s hidden gems. Reached by steep paths and steps that wind down between the verdant vegitation, these beaches are never crowded. At low tide the long stretches of glistening sand provides great walking or jogging opportunities, whilst the constant swell keeps surfers happy riding some huge waves. Rock pools dotted along the beach reveal fascinating marine life, and out to sea the bay is a popular dive site, home to HMS Scylla, an ex-naval frigate sunk in 2004 to form an artificial reef.”

Establishment
“Walk along the beautiful valley up to the 60' waterfalls. This is one of the most sacred and picturesque wooded valley in Cornwall, right below The Granary! Please wear suitable footwear as the valley is usually muddy and uneven. The waterfall site is privately owned and there is a charge to view. This has recently changed hands and is much more commercial than has been in the past, with new walkways, retreat centre, new age shop and a large cafe, which may not be appreciated by everyone looking for the natural beauty of this specisl place.”
