“Beautiful pub in old fishing village right beside sea in Beesands. Amazing food using local produce, everything from gourmet dinners to afternoon teas and crab sandwiches. Fine selection of local ales and tables outside beside the beach. Safe area for little ones to play.”

“Our verdict: Walking distance from us, five minutes trot down the lane. Great food (has won an award for Best Dining Pub in Devon) as the cooks grow their own veg and rear their own meat locally. The interior decor in the pub is really boring, bit like the inside of a fridge with no nod to it’s history, but the food is good and the location near us fabulous!”

The park will feature many stalls, and the bandstand is used during many of the towns festivals e.g. Food festival, Regatta..”

“A very popular pub and although the food is standard pub faire the Tuesday Curry Night does come recommended. I hadn’t been in over 10 years and thought I’d give it a whirl this summer (2019). I wasn’t disappointed. Eat as much as you like for around £12. Get in early to grab those popadoms!”
