A place you do not expect! Hidden underground in the Piazza Oberdan in Milan , there is the Hotel Diurno Venezia , an elegant and functional service center for travelers built between 1923 and 1925 designed by Piero Portaluppi , it closed in 2006 after decades of neglect. Under the dust of time , public baths , spas , barber shops , nail salon, travel agency and photographer , a magnificent hall with columns maintains the charm of past splendor , furnishings intact , sought in coatings , in the precious and original Deco -style decor , and even in the objects , still closed in the windows!

Una delle perle che Milano conserva gelosamente nascosta ai molti e sconosciuta ai più. Rimasto nell'oblio per oltre 40 anni, preda di umidità e muffe, è stato riaperto per merito del FAI che l'ha messo in sicurezza e ne permette le visite guidate e solo su prenotazione, in attesa del restauro definitivo. Racchiude in sé il genio artistico del Portaluppi e il fascino delle memorie di vita degli anni 20.
