Set on the edge of Dartmoor Castle Drogo commands some fantastic views, and then of course there's Fingle Bridge nearby with wonderful woodland walks.

Castle Drogo is the last castle to be built in England. Owned by the National Trust it has been undergoing extensive renovations. Very dog friendly.
