Point of Interest
“One of my absolutely favourite walks. This is approx. 40 mins drive from us but worth the visit. A great woodland walk that leads to a open pebble beach. There is a fantastic pub there that serves great food so you can treat yourself after the walk back to a lovely meal.”

Restaurant
“Take Thyme Fish Restaurant is located within 50 yards of Ilfracombe harbour. We specialises in locally caught fish, seafood, and Exmoor reared steaks. Wherever possible fresh local produce is used and the emphasis is on letting the simple, clean flavours of the West Country shine through onto the plate. With its relaxed and informal atmosphere Take Thyme Fish Restaurant is popular with with both visitors and Ilfracombe locals alike and is the perfect place for dinner for two or for small group bookings.”

Natural Feature
“A small sandy beach in the heart of the town, fantastic for the kids to play on and dog friendly all year round. Situated right next to the lifeboat station and when the tide is out, you can walk across to Larkstone beach. Close to the ice cream parlours and fish and chip shops for those all important treats.”
