Situated on a 42 hectare forest site on the South Coast of New South Wales, five kilometres south of Batemans Bay. The gardens grow and display plants which occur naturally in the region. The site abounds with a wide variety of flora and fauna including many of the 2000 species of plants, trees and shrubs of the region. There are kangaroos, wallabies, bandicoots, possums, echidnas, snakes, lizards, frogs and many birds. Features include display gardens, walking tracks, picnic and barbecue areas, children's playground, a visitors centre and cafe.

The Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens is 42 hectares of landscaped gardens, with over 8 kilometres of walking tracks, creeks and ponds scattered throughout. The botanic gardens plays host to an array of floral displays and collections including the display gardens which showcase plants suitable for home gardens, the sensory garden which is filled with flora that stimulates the senses, and the herbarium which contains over 2,000 plant species from the Clyde, Deua and Tuross River regions.

Over 8 kms of tracks have been developed within the Gardens, giving access to the natural & man made features of the site. A walk booklet & map is available from the Gardens Visitors Centre. Walks range from level pathways to rugged tracks with steps & dry creek crossings. Free walks are offered on the first Sunday of each month at 11.00am with a trained volunteer guide. Come along to learn about the Gardens’ development, current projects & local plants. You don’t need to book: just turn up. Educational Signs Signs are placed throughout the Gardens adjacent to prominent plants and / or features. These interpretive signs are designed to give a concise summary of plant features, plant community or habitats & plant uses. To complement these signs a range of brochures are available form the Visitor Centre covering wildlife, plant families & children’s activities.
