Magnificent gardens covering a large area and with tour guides available to take you round. Or punt or canoe on the River Avon that winds itself through the city and gardens.
The Botanic Gardens are a must visit. There are gracious old trees set alongside the Avon river, a renowned Rose garden and a native plant area dedicated to plants from New Zealand . The gardens are located near the city centre and provide a refuge for city workers and joggers .
Lovely place for a picnic and seeing the beautiful gardens. Often live music is played in the weekends.
