Bill Baggs State Park ($8 admission fee if entering by car) is home to the Cape Florida Lighthouse, the oldest standing structure in Miami-Dade. Guided tours of the lighthouse take place at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursdays through Mondays. There are also two restaurants in the park, but don't expect to be wowed by the food.

There is a toll for entry onto the island. The lighthouse is at the rear of the island, it is a scenic drive.
