Calle ocho is one of the most historic and cultural parts of the city. With live music and theatre performances, authentic Cuban cuisine, street dominoes bars and cigar shops.

The Calle Ocho Walk of Fame is mimicked after the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was constructed to recognize and celebrate Latin stars with ties to South Florida. The first star was positioned on the Latin Walk of Fame in 1987 in honor of Celia Cruz, a famous Cuban salsa dancer.

“Miami Beach - Central is an excellent place to get a tan. Easy access to parking lot and not so crowded. A nice, white sandy beach. The boardwalk that ran alongside the beach is fantastic. Beautiful mid beach where pelicans and other airborne animals thrive. The place is postcard worthy.”

Park
“Palm-shaded lawns, paths & a playground mark this park that begins the Miami Beach boardwalk. Great beach with good parking. Has a nice walkway in front of the ocean. Its a good place to see the air show. Lifeguards are on the watch and a beautiful blue ocean. Bring some munches and your sunscreen to have a good moments with family and friends. There's a small concession stand near the restroom that sells sunscreen and snacks and beverages. Chairs and umbrellas available for a fee. Recommended!”
