Roker beach is a beautiful stretch of sand less than 5 minutes walk from the property. This gorgeous beach sits between two piers and has recently been bestowed a Blue flag award. There several places to eat whilst enjoying a day at the beach including Downey's fish and chip shop, Love Lily tearooms, and SIX.

The council invested money in Roker several years ago and is now the perfect place to spend an afternoon or morning with beach walks extending along the pier and several coffee shops or eateries to visit too. There is the option for water sports and my favourite cafe Faustos will give 10% discount to cyclists too.
