Mining/ghost town. Great walk around historic buildings, hikes, xc skiing, snow mobiling, and buy some snacks at the General Store to feed the chipmunks.

A real historic ghost town, this trip is fun and free. Pro tip - bring (healthy!) chipmunk snacks (sunflower seeds) and the chipmunks are used to eating out of your hand. Explore and wander around, lots of nice hiking trails from town too.

Classic Colorado ghost town - but the general store is actually in operation and has ATV rentals.
