Easy to take transit too. Has many different music and light festivals during the year. Also has an amusement park, a museum and a large pool on site.
Really huge and lively park that is accessible by metro (yellow line). During summer, there are also many festivals happening there, such as Osheaga (music), Heavy Montreal (metal music), Ile Sonic (electronic music), Picnic Electronik (electronic music, very Sundays), and more.
Parc Jean-Drapeau is situated to the east of downtown Montreal, in the Saint Lawrence River. It comprises two islands. The islands were the site of the famous Expo 67 World's Fair. Renowned for its cultural and sports programming, it is the perfect place for any kind of getaways.
The most complete park ever, with a sand beach on the other side of old port, Famous Casino Montreal, La Ronde amusement park with the highest roller coaster & formula 1 in June. Yes excitement is here. The Saint Lawrence river and the port is always beautiful.
