We love to take the passenger ferry across to Shaldon - just a 3 minute trip across the estuary - and walk up to the Ness for coffee and cake or a drink and dinner. Booking may be necessary if you want to eat inside. In fine weather the you can eat outside without reservation. The views are stunning.

Large car park which rarely gets filled up, great for visiting Shaldon area or Shaldon Zoo! Reasonable Prices for longer stay tickets also

Ness Hotel, just across the water in Shaldon. Get there by the ferry in the daytime, or half hour walk across the bridge or quick taxi ride. theness.co.uk
